An all-Inclusive service that requires a 3 hive minimum for first year; 6 hive minimum after 5 years dependent on acreage owned. This option most benefits the landowners using bees for tax exemptions, and TAES requires no landowner participation.

Complete hive management option #1

  • 10 frame Langstroth beehive with solid bottom board and migratory lid all primed and painted for an extended life.

  • Pallets or hive stands for all hives (unless owner wants to provide their own).

  • A healthy nuc (starter colony) with a mated queen and 4 frames of bees.

  • Periodic hive health inspections.

  • Feed for the hives when needed.

  • Pest and disease management (varroa mite, SHB control, foul brood, chalk brood etc.)

  • A team of experienced beekeepers working together.

  • Knowledge to help you work towards your Ag Exemption and keep it once obtained!

TAES Will provide the following:

Landowner will provide:

  • Suitable site for the honeybees

  • Drivable access to hives

  • Protection against theft or vandalism

  • Pallets or hive stands for all hives

  • A healthy nuc (starter colony) with a mated queen and 4 frames of bees.

  • Feed for the hives when needed.

  • Pest and disease management (varroa mite, SHB control, foul brood, chalk brood etc.)
